1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Fellowstep (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use Fellowstep, whether through the website or the mobile app.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fellowstep. If you are under 13, you may not create an account or use the Platform in any way.

If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your country (typically 18), you may only use Fellowstep with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Your parent or guardian must review these Terms with you, agree to them on your behalf, and supervise your use of the Platform. We recommend parents make use of parental control tools where available.

By using Fellowstep, you confirm that you meet these requirements. We may suspend or delete accounts that we reasonably believe belong to users who do not meet the age requirements.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

You may not share your account with others, impersonate any person or entity, or use a username that is offensive, misleading, or infringes on the rights of others. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content

Fellowstep is a community for learning and sharing real-life skills. To keep it safe for everyone, you agree not to upload, post, share, or link to any content that:

• Contains nudity, sexually explicit or pornographic material, or sexual content involving minors in any form.
• Is illegal under the laws of your country of residence, the country from which you post, or the Netherlands, where Fellowstep is operated.
• Depicts, promotes, or facilitates violence, self-harm, terrorism, weapons trafficking, drugs, or other criminal activity.
• Harasses, bullies, threatens, defames, or discriminates against any person or group, including hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
• Infringes on any copyright, trademark, privacy, or other right of a third party, including posting photos or videos of other people without their consent.
• Contains false, fabricated, or misleading proof submissions, or attempts to manipulate levels, badges, hearts, or other progression systems.
• Includes spam, unsolicited advertising, scams, malware, or attempts to collect personal data from other users.
• Reveals private information about another person (such as their address, phone number, or identity documents) without permission.

You also agree not to interfere with the Platform's operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts or systems, use automated tools to scrape or post content, or circumvent any security or moderation features.

5. Your Responsibility for Local Laws

Fellowstep is used by people around the world. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform and the content you post comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including those of the country you live in and the country you are posting from.

Content that is legal in one country may be illegal in another. If you are unsure whether something is permitted where you are, do not post it. We may remove content or restrict access in certain regions where required by law.

6. Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of the photos, videos, text, and other content you submit to Fellowstep. By posting content, you grant Fellowstep a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the Platform and in connection with operating and promoting the service.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you post, and that it does not violate these Terms or the rights of any third party. This license ends when you delete your content or account, except where the content has been shared by others or we are required to retain it by law.

7. Content Moderation & Removal

We may, but are not obligated to, review content posted on Fellowstep. We reserve the right to remove, hide, or restrict any content at our sole discretion, at any time and without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms, is harmful to the community, or exposes us to legal risk.

Users can report posts that they believe violate these Terms. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Repeated or severe violations may result in warnings, removal of progression, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account.

8. Skill Verification Disclaimer

Skill levels, badges, and achievements displayed on Fellowstep are based on user-submitted proof. We do not independently verify every submission and make no guarantees or warranties about the accuracy of any user's skill level.

Some skills involve physical activity. You participate in any skill, challenge, or activity at your own risk. Consult a qualified professional before attempting activities that may be dangerous or that exceed your abilities. Fellowstep is not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from activities you undertake.

9. Intellectual Property

The Fellowstep name, logo, design, skill structures, level descriptions, and all software and materials on the Platform (excluding user content) are the property of Fellowstep and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Fellowstep is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fellowstep and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform, or from content posted by other users.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ends immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Fellowstep shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may notify you within the Platform. Your continued use of Fellowstep after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
